I'm enthusiastic, eager to learn new technologies and goal oriented person. I'm an experienced software developer with expertise in full stack application development. Currently I'm a master student pursuing Computer engineering in San Jose State University. Full stack development and mobile application development is my area of interest.

As a research intern at Vitalxchange from May 2020 I’ve enjoyed being responsible for developing web and mobile application features using React Native, React JS, Firebase, Graphql and Rest API. While developing application features, I also wrote mobile and web automation test scripts using Selenium, webdriver.io, and Appium, using the Cucumber framework to ensure our work was completely tested.

Around 4 years I worked in IT industry as Software engineer prior to my masters, I worked for PowerSchool and Infosys about 2 years in each company where I learnt and contributed in developing web and mobile applications

My hobbies are playing chess, reading books, playing foosball and table tennis. I have participated and won several prizes in sports during my school days.

Twitter Prototype

Member of a team of five team members where we developed a twitter prototype that mimics the features of the Twitter including account creation, posting tweets, likes, bookmarks, creating private lists, and sending notifications using React JS, Node Js, Express JS, MySql, MongoDb, Kafka, AWS Ec2. We created search pages, pagination, modals, chat box, analytical graphs in the project. Rest API’s were developed so the front end could access the database using Node JS and Express JS. We used Kafka to scale the application horizontally. Load Balancers and AWS were used to distribute the application in the cloud. We used JWT Authorization for secure authentication and Redis Cache to improve the performance of the application.

Spartan AI Parking System

This project’s objective was to reduce manual labor by implementing an online parking reservation system. To solve the problem we created a web app that used cameras in the parking lot to calculate the parking price dynamically. Technologies for the project included Python, OpenCv, Open ALPR and dlib to detect car license plates during entry and exit from the parking lot. Depending on the entry and exit time, parking prices were calculated automatically. We also engineered a web app using React Js, Node Js, Express Js, Mysql where a potential parking customer could reserve a parking space and pay their parking fees online.

Toy Trader Android app

This is an android app buitl in android studio using android/Java and XML. The main objective of this app to build an e-commerce app to re-sell the used toys. Functionalities like search for a toy, view toy details, add it to cart, locate the place of the toy using maps, order to buy/rent, adding new toys to rent/sell, reporting issues with the toys/user to the admin were implemented
